Keith and Nicole seem to have babies on the brain. That or all the interviewers who chat with them ask the same questions.
Keith says in a recent interview with the UK's Hello! magazine {via Celeb Baby Blog}, "We didn’t get to meet each other in our 20s and 30s,so we thought maybe that’s not our journey, we’re fine with that.” Keith adds, “It’s such a miracle to have her (Sunday Rose).”
Nice, nice, but that's not what we really want to know. Keith next answers the burning question that's on all our minds, “We’re very grateful and not pining for anything more than what we’ve got. But if another was to come, Nicole and I would be very happy.”
Like I said, babies seem to be on the couple's minds as Nicole gave her own family and baby information in a separate interview {via Showbiz Spy}.
“Now my priority is my family — my baby and my husband — that’s non-negotiable,” the actress told Britain’s SHE magazine. “I’m not going on location unless we all go together. I’ve worked hard enough — and it’s now all about resting and enjoying.”
Asked what her two older children think of Sunday, Kidman said, “Well, she’s their second baby sister [Cruise has a three-year-old daughter Suri] and they’re 16 and 14 and only interested in their friends, but they are good with her. Connor wants a boy — maybe I will try again.”
Kidman’s plans for the future? “Nothing!” she said. “Christmas. Country living. I’m growing vegetables, driving our very cool 1950s pick-up truck… We have hay! We have deer and skunks!
“And we have bobcats on our 40 acres, as well as four alpacas — as pets. Not for their wool — I’m not knitting, but because I love their eyelashes!”
Forget babies, I'm more interested in this whole alpaca eyelashes thing. That's the funniest answer to why a person has a certain pet that I've ever heard. But then taking a look at this alpaca below I'm seeing more why anyone would want them around. They're pretty darn cute.

I want to let you in on a little secret, something I've learned over the last year and a half of running NashvilleGab....the best singers with the best music out there are often not the people you find on the radio. It's sad to say but so completely true. I've gotten CDs from people I've never heard of before I popped their CD in my player and yet I'm blown away. Oh sure, there are the duds, but more than a few times I've listened to a CD and then listened again and again because a singer has caught my attention and are really just that good. But something I've also learned is that many of these singers and bands may never play on the radio because they're just too country. In country music these days if you don't have a pop twinge mixed with your twang you may be doomed to play bars and small venues and make your living by word of mouth from your faithful fans. Again, sad but true.
But now let me introduce you to Stormy Montana (yep, that's her real name). This girl is country - she sounds country, she looks country, and bottom line is she's wonderful. She's got great material and the girl can sing. But she's got something in her corner that many other singers these days don't have, she's young (just 16) and she's cute and I think very marketable. And being blonde probably doesn't hurt either. But does she have that pop twinge in her that is so popular on radio these days? The Carrie and Taylor cross-over potential? Well let me tell you, if you listen to Stormy's CD "Someone Like Me" you may wonder because the girl's sound is country through-and-through, not much of the pop-country sound we've become so accustomed to. But let me also tell you that it's refreshing to hear someone so young embracing a real country sound. Her CD is fun, it's toe tapping, and best of all every song on the CD is a multi-play song, I wouldn't skip thru a single one if I was listening in my car. Definitely a plus. But does she have that pop sound? Her website says "the music itself, which is grounded in the best traditions of country music, with an eye towards the more accessible pop country of today’s generation." Honestly I see the pop-country in Stormy herself, in her look, in her youth, in her potential, but not in her music. What I see is just good music.....good country music. And for that I say thank goodness. Yes, I like my Carrie, Kellie, and Taylor, but I also like my Martina, my George Strait, my Alan Jackson. So I say to Stormy...work it girl, embrace it, be countrified, it may just set you apart from the rest of the pack.
So anyway, I would give you a run-down of my thoughts of every song on the CD but instead I'll send you to Stormy's website where you can take a listen yourself and come up with your own verdict. And while you're there, be sure to pick up your copy of "Someone Like Me" since the CD officially releases online tomorrow. Something you should know while your on Stormy's site is that she's already sold over 7000 physical copies of her album, that's gotta tell you something. But if you want my opinion - and you know you do - the girl is a keeper, someone you should all get to know. Let's just hope that radio will figure that out. Today's pop-country sound needs a good ol' fashion run for it's money.

You know, I've went back and forth every time I see a picture of Kellie's new hair color about whether it's brown or red. Sometimes you see it and it looks really brown and then the next time it's really red. But this picture Kellie posted to her Twitter made up my mind for me. It's most definitely red. A really, really, wish-I-could-pull-that-off red.
So pretty.

Oh yay, yay, yay. The Judds are one of the reasons I love country music. It started with the Judds long before it moved onto Garth, Clint Black, and Alan Jackson. Love Can Build a Bridge is still one of my all-time favorite songs.
Well if you're like me you'll be excited to learn that The Judds are in talks to do something new next year which may include a tour and new album.
"We are 'in talks,' so there's nothing that's been defined yet," Wynonna said. "I just felt it in my spirit. A couple weeks ago I said, 'It's 2010. It's been 25 years. It's take your mother to work year. It just feels like it's the right time; she'll be 64 in January, and I think it's time -- not the whole year, but it's just going to be a way to celebrate her."
Wynonna says she started thinking about doing something with her mom after performing at this year's CMA Music Fest.
"It was huge," she said. "We sang for 50,000 people and they sang back to us, and it was a holy moment. And on the drive home I thought, 'Y'know, I really appreciate where I've come from and the people do, too, and they love the Judds' music and it hasn't disappeared.' I just thought, 'Y'know, I think it's time.'"
And speaking of 2010, Wynonna has a new novel coming outcalled "The Restless Heart" which is geared towards the younger set. Wynonna says it's her own life story told through a fictional character.
"She's basically the Miley Cyrus agegroup area, so I can tell my story through her about trying to make it in the music business. Who can't relate to that?" Wynonna said. "It's about the dreamer aspect, having stars in your eyes. What kid doesn't know what that's about? I'm just trying to find a way to connect with that generation and especially the younger girls, because it's a really major, formative time in their lives and I want to teach them."
The book is set to be released April 6, 2010, but you can already preorder yours here .

Have I ever mentioned that I love Miranda Lambert? Oh I'm sure I've mentioned it a time or two. Well while looking around ABC's website I came across these awesome pictures of the stars practicing for the CMAs and figured I'd pass the link onto you. Enjoy.
And just for the record, I've never realized just how big Miranda's guitar is in proportion to her. It looks like it was made for someone about a foot and a half taller than Miranda.

In case you didn't know, Taylor's got a furniture throwing habit. Oh sure, it's all for show, but I honestly think it's how she stay so dang perky. I mean throwing furniture around on a nearly nightly basis has got to be the ultimate stress release. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, Taylor takes a red chair and tosses it off it's platform during her concerts. She also did it during her CMA performance that you can watch below.
Well if you'd like to have furniture you can throw around too then you're in luck. The company who makes the chairs like you can see Taylor throwing around on a regular basis also makes furniture that anyone can by. It's called Foamiture and they make a whole line of squishy, comfy looking furniture that looks like a marshmallow with a cloth covering. And I mean that in the best possible way. Check out Foamiture's website here.
And the company has taken notice of the sudden extra publicity the CMAs have brought them. “We’re pleased to see our chairs used in such a high-profile event as the CMA program,” said R. W. Steury, President of Veada Industries and Foamiture. “Throwing our chair from a stage demonstrates the durability of our design and construction methods. That’s why Foamiture is now used in college dorms, homes, hospitals, and even police stations all over the country.”
I'm telling you, I need me a squishy, comfy chair like this, not that I plan on throwing it off a stage anytime soon.
