Carrie Underwood thinks she would make the best Halloween costume

Carrie Underwood is a huge, huge, huge horror movie fan.

Who knew?

Well she chatted yesterday with The Frogmen in the Morning over on KFrog 95.1 who chatted with her about Halloween, including the fact that she's the "Rainman of horror movies."  Check out below who Carrie thinks she should dress up as for Halloween.  And be sure to check out the rest of the interview here.

Nothing better than a surprise wedding

Eric durrance (3)

I wanna send a big, ol' Gab congrats to Eric Durrance who married his fiance, Jennifer Weeks, October 24th at Eric's Tallahasee farm in a nice private ceremony.

From the press release I received...

Currently writing and recording for his next CD release, Durrance said time off the road afforded him time to take the plunge with Jennifer, a paralegal, and he couldn't be happier. This time last year, Durrance was on tour with Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum, and marriage wasn't on the radar, but my what a difference a year makes, the singer says.

Although the couple didn't announce their planned nuptials in advance, fans might have had an inkling that Durrance had met someone special after he uploaded a  new song, "Once In A Lifetome (Jennifer's Song," to his MySpace (www.myspace.com/ericdurrance) recently. Said tune is the same song that Eric sang to Jennifer during their Saturday nuptials, which were performed by the Dove-nominated artist's stepfather.

"All in all, it was a perfect day," Durrance says of Oct. 24, 2009. "I can't wait to see what songs I write now. I've never felt so complete!"

The first wedding for both, Eric and the new Mrs. Durrance will spend their honeymoon in Mexico.

Some new pics of Kellie's red hair

Kellie red hair

A few people have said how much they don't like Kellie's new hair, but I think I like it.  In fact, I wish I was brave enough to so drastically change my hair.

Thanks to Lynsi for sending these pics my way.

Miranda and Toby winners plus a new contest

I'm late, as usual, announcing the last contest winners for the Miranda Lambert and Toby Keith CDs. I did have a great response to the contest though, which is always awesome.  So here you go, the winners.

The two winners of Miranda Lambert's "Revolution" CD are Casey and Mike.

The two winners of Toby Keith's "American Ride" CD are BB and Jackie.

All winners have been notified of their winning.  Thanks everyone who entered!

Now onto the next awesome contest.

316351 Cracker Barrel is offering an exclusive Zac Brown Band CD, "The Foundation," and I have three copies for the winners of this contest.  On top of that I have one $50 Gift Card to Cracker Barrel.  So the top prize will be a CD and the gift card and the other two winners will receive this wonderful CD.  Just email me at blogginmomma@hotmail.com to be entered. Winners will be drawn in a week on Thursday, November 5.

Good luck everyone.

And here's a little info about the CD from Cracker Barrel's website...

In addition to featuring new artwork and two of Zac’s #1 hits, “Chicken Fried” and “Whatever It Is,” this disc includes three previously unreleased recordings, live versions of “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,” “I Lost It,” and “I Shall Be Released.”

Wanna check out Kellie's red hair?

6a00e552403d2f88330115709a47e3970b-800wi_0_0_0x0_340x582

Oooh, ooh, can't wait to watch this show.  Kellie Pickler will be joining Ellen Degeneres on Friday for Ellen's Halloween show which will give us all the chance to check out Kellie's new red hair - unless of course she's already went back to blonde.

From Ellen's website...

Halloween Show - Friday, October 30, 2009

Boo! Today is my Halloween show and it is going to be SCARY! Well, maybe it won't be scary, but all month I've been scaring people and will finally show the footage to you today.

One of my favorite guests, STEVE SPANGLER, is here. He always brings fun science experiments, and today I think he's bringing some SPOOKY ones. I don't like to be told in advance what he's going to do, I just know it's gonna be great.

Then, the talented, and hilarious, KELLIE PICKLER will be here. She has such a fun personality, I could just let her talk the entire time. Sometimes I don't really have a choice -- she just keeps going! The "American Idol" alum is doing quite well for herself. She just released her second CD, "Kellie," and is about to go on tour with Taylor Swift again.

Then, a great musician and actor -- RICK SPRINGFIELD will drop by. You all know his hit song "Jessie's Girl" and have seen him on "General Hospital," now he's guest-starring on "Californication." I hear he's playing a twisted version of himself, which I'm sure must be a lot of fun. And since it's Halloween, I'm planning a great costume -- this might be my best one ever! You'll have to watch the show to see it!

Let's hope Kellie dresses up in a great costume for the occasion.

Thanks Oliver for the tip.
