On Tuesday, September 15, Sara Evans and Libby’s Vegetables teamed up to celebrate Get Back to the Table Month and to judge Libby’s Table-Gating Recipe Contest in New York. Finalists served up family favorites for guest judges: Sara Evans, Jill Nicolini of PIX Morning News, Beth Feldman of RoleMommy.com and Isabel Kallman of AlphaMom.com. Karen Fausz of Payson, AZ took the top prize: a family vacation to Florida, with her Scalloped Corn recipe.
This is Libby’s and the country music artist’s second year celebrating Get Back to the Table Month and leading the charge to remind parents of the importance of family dinnertime. To celebrate, Libby’s hosted a day long event at South Street Seaport in New York and gave fans a chance to meet Sara Evans, hear new music from the star and sample delicious recipes.
