Nothing like a love of the good life to bring people together.
William Lee Golden, a member of the Oak Ridge Boys, recently took his family to a Kenny Chesney concert in Orange Beach, Alabama. Afterward he decided to go backsgtage to tell Kenny how much he and the family enjoyed the show and to present Kenny with a painting that depicts Kenny's adopted home, St. John. William Lee and his family often vacation on the island.
"We were talking about our love for St. John backstage at the ACM Awards Show in Vegas. At the time, I was working on Trunk Bay and told Kenny about the artwork. I presented it to him after his performance in Alabama, and Kenny promised to hang it in his island home. I was humbled by his response and truly treasure his friendship. He´s a great entertainer and an awesome individual."
Okay, so I'm curious, did Golden stash the painting somewhere or did he pack it around with him at the concert? Yes, these are the things that go through my head while I'm writing stories like this.
