This is such an awesome Toby Keith story that I don't remember hearing anything about when it happened back in June.
Seems during Toby's last USO tour he met Sgt. Allen McKenna in Afghanistan who had a special request...deliver a package to his family back home in Oklahoma. Toby said he'd do it, took the address and the package, and that was that. Well I'm sure that Sgt. McKenna didn't actually expect Toby to come through with his promise, but come through he did.
Through a thunderstorm on a motorcycle even.
On June 13th the soldier's family got a phone call asking if it was too late for a package delivery from Sgt. McKenna. A few minutes later Toby and his friend, Curt Motley, pulled up in front of the house on their Harleys, having ridden through a thunderstorm to get there.
Can you imagine seeing big guy Toby Keith pulling up on a Harley in front of your house? I think I'd lock the door and shut the curtains if I didn't recognize him.
The McKenna's did recognize Toby and let him and his friend into the house where they received their letters, gifts, etc. from Sgt. McKenna, got a few pictures and autographs from Toby, and had one heck of a story to tell.
Awesome! What a great thing for Toby to do. Check out the picture and full story here.

Not too many people would have done that. Most of them would have just sent it on through the post office or UPS. Toby keeps his word. He loves and respects the military so much and would do anything he could for them. Thank you Toby for being you.
