Wow! Go Miranda!
Miranda hosted her second annual "Cause for the Paws" event recently which benefited the Humane Society of East Texas and raised approximately $120,000 in the process. It turned out to be the largest fundraiser Miranda had ever hosted.
Last year's event raised $113,000.
"I can't express how much this year's 'Cause For the Paws' event touched me, " Miranda said. "The giving spirit of those who were at the event this year was truly inspiring. It means the world to me and to the animals of East Texas. I am excited to see the improvements that we will make at the shelter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I cannot wait to see everyone next year!"
Miranda's main man, Blake Shelton, also took part in the events which included food and wine testing, a silent and live auction, a Meet and Mingle VIP private cocktail party for sponsors of the event, and a concert with Miranda, Blake Shelton, Kasey Musgraves and Adam Hood.
Here's to hoping next year's event is even bigger!
