Kellie Pickler is one hot, meat-free dish

Uh oh, Carrie Underwood may have helped to create her own competition - in the ranks of sexy vegetarians anyway.

Kellie Pickler has said in the past that Carrie was a great help and inspiration to her when she made the choice to go vegetarian and now PETA has revealed to Entertainment Weekly the winners of its Sexiest Vegetarians Poll and Kellie came out on top in their female poll. 

So Carrie was the runner up, right?  Beeeeppppp!  Wrong! The runners up were actually Robin Quivers, Ellen Degeneres, and Portia de Rossi.

Wait, Ellen beat out Carrie for sexiest vegetarian?  Wow.  Now that's an upset.

come on ya'll Carrie is like a household name and so is taylor. they are giving props to the one that is the least popular. its a media thing. Carrie i think is gorgious and has a fantabulous voice. hence she dosen't need publicity help cause she has a bucket full of talent. Plus Carrie and Taylor are not as openly flamboyant with thier sexuality, because they have talent that overshadows everything else. They don't need to be obscene, or fight in bars, or u know scandals or pose half naked. They have the aces they need...talent. Everyone else like Paris, Lindsay, etc. need media attention. so they create it. I'm not saying that Kellie is a media whore, just Carrie should have been first.

I'm sorry, but you should probably re-read the post.. In no way is it bashing Carrie. She's simply stating it was a surprise that Carrie didn't come in 2nd, and that of all people Ellen Degeneres beat her. That's not an insult. seriously, calm down.

I love Carrie AND Kellie. I'm a bigger Carrie fan, but I love Kellie too.

Carrie DEFINITELY experienced backlash from a lot of midwestern cattle farmers and other such people. She supports the Humane Society but has made it clear she supports it for what they do for stray domestic animals. She ALWAYS talks about how she would never force her vegetarian views on anyone, yet a lot of farmers have publicly said things against her and have even done things during her concerts to make their stances clear. She has been booed when mentioning she's a vegetarian before.

Good for Kellie. I love her :) And she certainly seems like she would want it more... Carrie was never really one to openly flaunt sexuality but Kellie definitely does that more with her bikini pictures, new boobs, etc.

I am going to take up for Carrie. I am not going to let anyone slam her. If that is overzealous, then that is what I am. I am proud of it. I will take up for her, just like you are taking up for your girl.

I think that is a slam at Carrie. The only thing that needed to be said was that Kellie won it and that Carrie had won it before. The last two sentences did not even need to be said, that sounded just like a slam to me. That is indeed a slam. Kellie is a hippocrite for writing a song about how beautiful just the way you are and then having plastic surgery. That is sending bad images to young girls.

Kim, I think you are right that the over zealous Carrie fans(who are just like the over zealous Kellie fans, Taylor fans, etc)sound silly. Yea for Kellie. But you are wrong about no backlash for this award. It wasn't for being a vegetarian, but for being associated with Peta. When you are selected Peta's sexiest vegetarian, then some assume you are a supporter of Peta. And the groups who want to gripe about Carrie use that Peta connection, truth is optional.

Wow, I didn't realise Kellie was nominated for that. I voted for Carrie since she's my favourite famous veggo. But good to know Kellie's there too.

What backlash has she faced from being sexiest vegetarian? That's ridiculous. There was some controversy over her supporting the HS, but I think that was justifiable because some of them have been proven to be extremists. Had nothing to do with her being vegetarian. Yet another post taken over by the over zealous Carrie-fans.

And Gab never bashes Carrie. Shannon does a great job of BALANCING and ACCURATELY reporting country gossip. There is nothing hateful about this post at all. Its a little hypocritical to bash Kellie and then accuse Gab of bashing Carrie isn't it?

I think a lot of Carrie fans quit voting for this due to the backlash she has received from it. It's one of the things that certain agriculture groups like to include when they go after Carrie. Even after she has repeatedly said that she has nothing to do with PETA, they still use it against her.
