Email purge #2

Yes, I was behind enough that I needed two email purges this morning.  The other one had gotten so dang long I figured I'd start a second one.  Sheesh, hate when I get so behind.

Years ago, the three artists and a few others got together often and played as “The Traler Park Show.” They’ve added “Revival” to the show name for this benefit since it’s a return to the stage for all three and since the return will be at the Ryman Auditorium, known as the “Mother Church of Country Music.”  Pre-Sale tickets are available Wed., April 22 at 10:00 a.m. through Thursday, April 23 at 10:00 p.m. at jameyjohnson.com; randyhouser.com; myspace.com/jameyjohnson; myspace.com/randyhouser and myspace.com/jerrodniemann.  Tickets are $20 and will be available at ryman.com, opry.com, 1-800-SEE-OPRY, and the Ryman and Opry House Box Offices on April 24.

**Kcarson_10_html_20090421_142404Kendel Carson shows she's quite a pistol on her new album 'Alright Dynamite,' out June 23 on Train Wreck Records. A magnetic 24-year-old with a honey-dipped voice and serious fiddling chops, Carson demonstrates spunk and sultriness on the album's 14 tracks. At times flirtatious and bawdy, at others wistful and reflective, on the new album Carson demonstrates an exceedingly confident spirit, building upon her 2007 debut 'Rearview Mirror Tears,' named one of the top five Roots albums of the year by Q magazine. Check out her MySpace here.
