Hey, did you know that it pays to know me? Well it does and let me tell you why.
Two weeks ago I got offered tickets to the Stagecoach Festival in California which is next weekend. If you haven't seen the lineup for this thing, it's awesome! Playing the festival are: Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Reba, Kid Rock, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Charlie Daniels Band, Darius Rucker, Earl Scruggs, Chris Cagle, Lady Antebellum, Ricky Scaggs, Danielle Peck, Zac Brown Band, Randy Houser, among others.
Well I couldn't afford to go on such short notice so I hooked up with a reader who gets to go in my place. I'm totally jealous but so happy for her. On top of the tickets to the festival, she gets a photo pass and press pass so she might have the chance to get up close and personal with some of the performers.
The lucky gal!
Well I'm not telling you guys this just for my own amusement and a pat on the back - nope - I actually have ulterior motives. See I'm in need of some correspondents in the field to take my place if I'm not able to attend an event. I get offered a lot of tickets to events, most of which I end up turning away. Well I hate, hate, hate wasting these awesome offers so now I'm in the market for a few people who would be willing to get free tickets in exchange for pictures and reviews of the event.
Interested yet? Well let me tell you what I'm looking for. I'm looking for people from lots of different states that way if I get tickets to a concert in Oklahoma I have someone who might be able to cover it for me. I'm looking for country music fans (of course) who wouldn't mind taking pictures and writing a review of the concert or event. You don't have to be a professional writer, but at least being able to string a few sentences together is a plus. You also don't have to have fancy camera (in fact a lot of concerts wont allow them), but having something that takes good pictures is definitely a plus. I would like to have people who aren't going to embarrass NashvilleGab (you know, no YouTube videos of Toby Keith jumping off stage to throw you out of the concert personally). Or if you do do something stupid at least have good video so that TMZ and Perez will link to my site (that's a joke...kind of). I'm just really looking for people who would like to do the leg work when I'm not able to myself.
Now this isn't a paying gig by any means, just sort of a trade - tickets for you, content for my site for me. So if you got through all of my gibberish there and think this sounds fun then here's what you do.
1. Just send me an email to blogginmomma@hotmail.com.
2. Put the state you live in in the subject line that way I don't have to open every single email looking for someone from a specific state.
3. In the body of the email just tell me a little about yourself, where you live (city), how far you'd be willing to travel, things like that. A phone number would also be a good idea in case I can't get a hold of you by email, although you don't have to include that if you don't feel comfortable. Basically I just wnat to get to know you a little bit.
I guess that's about it. Oh, one more thing, you will have 100% rights to anything you may get to contribute to NashvilleGab so if you have a blog of your own you can still keep all your pictures, interviews, whatever to use for your own site as well as getting featured on NashvilleGab. You will also get credit for anything that appears here, including a link to your own website if you have one.

Well thank you Joe S., I love getting compliments from readers, makes what I do totally worth it.
