Okay, I do believe I'm done with the ACM pictures now. I think that pink walls and orange carpeting is permanently burned into my brain and my eyeballs are starting to smoke a bit.
Anyway, I had found this picture and was surprised since it's the only picture I've seen of John Rich before the ACMs AND he's smiling. Not sure about the ripped jeans, but maybe it's a poor workin' man statement or something.
Speaking of poor workin' man, The Huffington Post believes that John Rich's new economic anthem just might be what this world needs to put politicians in rehab and what the government needs to stand up and take notice of.
Why should the President and Congress take note of a hit country song? Because music can be a glimpse into the national psyche, even in this age of prefabricated pop and country. Because music can reshape the national psyche, by taking powerful emotions and channeling them for or against political parties. And because the Administration has been sounding a series of wrong notes where the bailout and the stimulus plan are concerned.
It's a pretty flattering article for John Rich. Take a read to the whole thing here.
