Ooooh, financial reports, goody goody!
Forbes has compiled their list of the top country money makers and despite album sales falling 24% last year, the top country stars still made quite a bit of da mullah.
To compile the list of top earners in country music, Forbes considered concert grosses, merchandise revenue, album sales and income from endorsement and licensing deals. The figures represent estimates of gross earnings for the 12 months beginning June 2008. Earnings for May 2009 were projected.

- Kenny Chesney with estimated earnings of $65 million
- Rascal Flatts with estimated earnings of $60 million
- Toby Keith with estimated earnings of $52 million
- Taylor Swift with estimated earnings of $18 million (big space there between #3 and #4)
- Brooks&Dunn and Tim McGraw tie with estimated earnings of $16 million
- Brad Paisley with estimated earnings of $15 million
- Sugarland and Carrie Underwood tie with estimated earnings of $14 million
- Alan Jackson with estimated earnings of $12 million
