That Faith Hill makes one scary Twiggy

Faith-hill-as-grace-kelly

Here's your first look at Faith as three of her favorite icons from the past for the May issue of Redbook.  Just click the pics to make them larger.

Faith portrays Grace Kelly, Twiggy and Brigitte Bardot.  Grace Kelly and Brigitte Bardot work, Twiggy...not so much.  Don't get me wrong, Faith is beautiful no matter what she does, but the Twiggy look just doesn't hit me as her best yet.

Here's what she had to say about why she chose these three ladies.

On Grace Kelly: "Grace is probably the one that I relate to the most in my life and the one that I have most in common with. I have this seemingly high-profile life, like Grace did, and we were both the mother of three children. She epitomizes the all-American girl with a quiet class and inner strength. She was like everybody’s girl--seemingly comfortable and accessible--yet untouchable."

On Twiggy: "It was hard for me to look at myself as Twiggy. I think she was in her late teens when the original photo was taken. And there's a very big difference between a teenager and a 41-year old!"

On Brigitte Bardot: "To be completely candid, I felt least like Brigitte of all three of the women. To me, sexuality is very different from sensuality. And Brigitte possesses this sensual essence that is so powerful. If I could possess that kind of sensuality, I would want to possess it like she does."

Today on Biography they did Brigitte Bardot, and I couldnt believe how much Faith looks like Brigitte when Brigitte was in her 20's. RED BOOK made a good choice.

I also think that this is probably something Redbook asked Faith to do. It had to be fun playing dress up and pretending to be somebody else for a day or two, but I do still think the Twiggy pic is horrible, but that's just my opinion.

Faith was asked to do this by Redbook, and as always she came through with shining colors! There is nothing to get. Faith is Faith, read the article and you will understand why she is so loved by her fans

I think Faith was having fun with this. RED BOOK probably asked her to do this. Shes always being photographed, why not as these beautiful iconic women. I think she did an amazing job, she is gorgeous as Brigitte and Grace. I dont think Twiggy is suppose to be gorgeous. I cant wait to get the magazine.

Why not be just who you are Faith? Are you so lost that you have to try and be different people? I don't get it!

I just wanted to point out that on the first picture of Faith that is the same dress that Carrie Underwood wore at the ACM orange Carpet
and i think it looks bette on Carrie but it looks good on faith

Mona

Isn't that the exact same dress that Carrie Underwood wore on the red carpet at the ACM's?? Guess they both have the same taste. Sure was a very pretty dress though and has a soft look to it.
