Dierks Bentley's Sideways video

So this is an odd video and I can't quite put my finger on just why I think it's strange.  It's like clear or something.  Is it high definition?  I have no clue but it just looks different and sort of cheesy. 

Maybe it's all the colors in the background and catwalk that are distracting me.

Actually only 3 of his videos have been live performances (Every Mile a Memory, Free & Easy and now Sideways). He features his band quite a bit in his videos, but you can't count those. And nobody does live audio in their videos...it's all digitally mastered.

As for this particular video, it's definitely not my favorite of his. I too think it's kind of cheesy. Still love the song though!

it seems like all of his videos are like this. they are all live performances... but the audio is never live. he has very few music videos that are not live peformances.
