That's a quote from one of the guys from Eleven Finger. If that's how people really think of country is it any wonder every Tom, Dick, and really hairy man think's country is a viable option to career death?

In some ways, they are absolutely right, unfortunately.
I'll listen to their country stuff. Sounds like they came by it honest (they are not facing career death in rock music, BTW). They should go on tour with Ben Kweller!
