I honestly thought this was a non-story, but apparently I was completely wrong.
The Jonas Brothers appeared at the Ryman Auditorium this weekend and apparently they were huge. HUGE I say. First off, Tim and Faith introduced them. WTF? Then they were joined on stage by Brad Paisley, Martina McBride, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Phil Vassar not to mention Jordin Sparks from American Idol.
Holy crap, the Jonas Brothers had almost as good a lineup as Alan Jackson did for the CMT Giants show. How in the world does that happen?
Anyway, I can admit when I'm wrong and I was definitely wrong about the JoBros at the Ryman not being a big deal. If you have the urge to check out some pictures you can do so here, here, and here.
And here's video of Martina singing with the boys.
And with Brad Paisely. Not that you can really hear them sing through all the screaming girls.

Dang that's an impressive lineup!
I wonder how Taylor feels about all those country artists singing with the JoBros. But it's just about the music and in some cases, the artists' kids being fans.

It sure surprised me. and yeah, maybe there is a slight hint of jealously...? oh well, Taylor is going to be on SNL on the 10th (her mother's BD in fact). That's no small deal.
