Carrie Underwood will be a walking robbery waiting to happen

Carrie Underwood obviously likes the finer things in life, at least when it's borrowed. 

I came across a press release this morning that told about the jewels little Miz Carrie would be wearing to the CMAs this year.  I finally just got around to reading it - because press releases are so damn boring.  You know, things are much easier for me to read if they come with colorful pictures.  Press releases with pictures, that's what I really need. 

Oh my.  I'm now drooling just a little, and more than a little fearful for the girl's safety.  Carrie's jewels this year will be provided by the Jonathan Arndt Gallery of Jewels and the stuff she's set to walk around that evening in will be worth over $60 million.  Yeah, you read that right, $60 million, as in sixty, as in 6-0.  Either the press release had a big-fat typo or that girl is gonna be very, very glittery.  How in the world is it even possible to wear $60 million in jewels?  Well let's count the ways...

This year Carrie is scheduled to be wearing one of the world's largest emerald sets valued at over 60 Million U.S. Dollars.  Yes, one set of jewelry is worth $60 million buckaroos.  The girl could retire in style with that one necklace alone.  On top of the emerald set, she will also be sporting, and I quote, "The Premier Johnathon Arndt Jeweled Watch Line Collection on the Red Carpet, Award Show and the After Party.  The Jeweled Watches are valued between $85,000-$680,000, per watch." 

The press release says the jeweler will be providing $70 million worth of jewels, so unless Carrie's going to be wearing a couple dozen of those fancy watches, some other ladies are going to be sporting some pretty fantastic borrowed baubles to the CMAs too.  Wonder how many armed guards are going to be floating around the awards and after shows.  Hate to yell bomb in that place. 

Note:  The picture above is the only picture I could find quickly of Carrie wearing big jewels.  It's not the piece she will be wearing on Wednesday.

Hi Y'all, I think the press release says she "may" be wearing the Emerald Set on the 2008 CMA show which is on November 12, 2008 on the show. They should have the picture then. That picture above is from another photo from awhile ago- I think the Emerald will be much Greener. Whatever Carrie wear is pretty- she is so special and has a beautiful voice. She has worked hard and deserves all the good that comes with it. I know that she does charity work to giving back to the people.

I cant wait to watch the show on Wed, I think its on ABC.
