Haven't people learned you don't mess with country music fans? Apparently Scottish country music fans are spittin' mad after the BBC decided to not air last week's CMAs after having aired highlights of "Country Music's Biggest Night" for over 10 years. The event was also missing from live broadcast on the radio.
Fans have been fuming and have been calling and emailing to complain. The BBC says:
"The BBC has a six-year plan called Delivering Creative Future, aimed at bringing more value to all sections of the audience.
"This has meant we have had some difficult decisions to make and one of these was that this year BBC2 did not show the CMA Awards and Radio 2 did not feature live coverage."
Ouch. Is there not a CMT over there? Hopefully the country music fans have been able to get their CMA fix via YouTube.
