Hmm, imagine that. Who knew the French liked 'em some country music.
The FACM (French Association of Country Music) has announced the winners of their 6th annual Country Music Awards and Ashton Shepherd won the award for "best new talent."
The ceremony took place near Lyon. Next year, the academy hopes to have one or more American artist(s) performing during the ceremony.
Congrats to Ashton. First the French, next the world!
