Angela Wood is appearing on WFAA’s “Good Morning Texas” in Dallas on November 25 and Poor David’s Pub.
Check Angela out on http://www.myspace.com/angelawoodmusic
Born and raised in Texas and Oklahoma, Angela grew up in Dallas singing in church where her dad led the music and she made commercials for WFAA, Radio Shack as well as appearing in “Leap of Faith” with Steve Martin and Walker, Texas Ranger.
In her early adulthood, she made the move to Nashville to pursue a music career. In Nashville, Angela wrote with great artists and writers like Big Kenny and John Rich. She also joined a band with Shooter Jennings, where his father, Waylon, would come to hear them play.
After a couple of years in Nashville, she moved to Los Angeles to write and record. Trying to stay afloat in the big town, Angela joined the band “West Indian Girl” where she developed her “road legs” for a short while, then decided to get back to business with her own music.
...Which led her back to Nashville and country music. She is currently working with producers in Nashville and making monthly visits to write and record her music.
Today, in addition to playing many live shows, Angela can be found on numerous national commercials (Burger King, Payless Shoes, Scope (with Ryan Seacrest),
TGI Fridays, Citibank with Nickelback Band to name a few) and music videos, including “She Wouldn’t Be Gone” where she stars with country music star, Blake Shelton. You can see the video at:

Anyone hear Angela Wood rockin' Nashville this week with her producer, management team and good ole Warner Music. She was awesome at the Bluebird Cafe on Thursday night with her humorous patter and jokes. Angela connects to the audiance with her quick wit. (Guess it helps to be the wittiest girl in your senior class). She so funny when she jokes with the hecklers. Not many people can do that. I can't wait to see you at Dosey Doe's in The Woodlands with Hal Ketchum on Sept. 26.

You can see Angela is the new Crest commercial with Ryan Seacrest. Gotta love her Burger King and TGIFriday commercial. But that PayLess Shoe commercial that showed of her during Dancing with the Stars was great. Wow! She's photogenic and can sing some country music. "Don't Touch My Man" is getting some great buzz.

Wasn't Angela Wood the girl in a scrapbook picture with Luke Wilson and Paris Hilton that appeared in Playboy? She's also the 'hot girl' in the Nickleback Citibank commercial.

Wow, I'm impressed with your video girl knowledge. I've often tried to hunt up who these people are that are in music videos but it's hard info to find. There should be a website for that.
