An Amur tiger cub born on Mother's Day at the Pittsburgh Zoo has been given a famous name, Billy Ray. And yes, it's named after THAT Billy Ray.
Zoo officials have been bottle feeding the cub since birth after his mother refused to nurse him. They announced today, September 10, that zoo donors who were allowed to name the cub chose Billy Ray to honor a deceased family member who was a big fan of Cyrus. Achy Breaky cool!
If all goes well, Billy Ray - who weighs 30 lbs now - will outgrow the original Billy Ray in no time flat and by the time he's an adult will be about 11 feet long and 450 pounds.
