Jewel puckers up for charity

Jewel has teamed up with Mary Kay cosmetics to be a spokesperson for their "A Kiss for Country" initiative to eliminate domestic violence.  Jewel gave a big ol' kiss and an autograph that will be auctioned off for the charity.

"It's a topic that's close to my heart. I was homeless for a year and saw first hand how sometimes the streets can be safer than what's at home," Jewel said during an event at the Morning Star Sanctuary domestic violence shelter near Nashville to promote the initiative.
