I have to laugh at my husband and I. I came across some photos of Kenny Loggins but the caption accompanying the photos said pop rock singer. That made me stop and think, wasn't Kenny Loggins a country singer? I asked my hubby and he said "yeah, he's country."
Hmmm, I couldn't think of anything off the top of my head that he sang but I knew he was country. So of course I was on a quest. So I checked out YouTube and found that he sang "Footloose" and "Danger Zone" from Top Gun. Hmm, that's no help. So I spent 10 minutes or so watching vids from YouTube, engrossed by the beauty that was Tom Cruise 20 some odd years ago before he was nutty.
Then I Google Kenny Loggins and come across his official website. Now we're getting warmer, but still not 100% helpful. Sheesh. Then I find a list of 52 songs written (or maybe that he sang, heck I don't know and am too lazy to go back and check it out again) by Kenny. Wow, he's been busy. Unfortunately I'm too lazy to read all the music so I look at Google again. Hey, he's on CMT.com as one of their artists so I'm going with that, so here ya go, some pictures of Kenny Loggins.
Note: After going back to Musings from a Nobody where I got the pictures from in the first place it says singer of "Your Mama Don't Dance." Well dang, if I had seen that in the first place I could have saved myself quite a bit of time and effort. Moral of the story? Always read the full captions!
Top Gun theme song just because it's so damn cool. I loved Tom Cruise back then.
