All kinds of non-Nashville stuff today.
I don’t know if you all seen the Oprah a while back when she had the show with the professor who gave the "Last Lecture" speech at Carnegie Mellon and became a YouTube phenomenon. He was dying of pancreatic cancer and was given a three-to-six-months-to-live prognosis and made the most of the time he had left. It was very moving. Professor Randy Pausch sadly passed away today, July 25, 2008.
He will be missed by all who were touched by his teaching, the video, and the subsequent book written about him.
You can watch the hour-long video here. It’s well worth it.
